1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the safe and efficient use of your Ledlenser P7 CORE LED Flashlight. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the device and retain it for future reference. The Ledlenser P7 CORE is designed for versatile everyday use, offering reliable illumination for various activities.

2. Product Overview

2.1 Key Features

3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

The Ledlenser P7 CORE operates on four AAA alkaline batteries (included). Follow these steps to install the batteries:

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Insert the four AAA batteries into the battery cartridge, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the cartridge.
  3. Place the battery cartridge into the flashlight body.
  4. Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the O-ring seal is properly seated to maintain water resistance.

3.2 Attaching the Wrist Strap

To attach the wrist strap:

  1. Locate the small hole on the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Thread the thin loop end of the wrist strap through this hole.
  3. Pass the larger end of the strap (with the adjustable slider) through the loop you just created and pull to secure.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the switch located on the tail cap to turn the flashlight ON or OFF.

4.2 Changing Light Modes

The P7 CORE features three light modes: High Power, Mid Power, and Low Power. To cycle through these modes:

  1. With the flashlight ON, quickly press the tail cap switch repeatedly. Each press will advance to the next mode.
  2. The sequence is typically High Power → Mid Power → Low Power.
  3. The flashlight will remember the last used mode if turned off for a short period.

4.3 Focusing the Beam (Advanced Focus System)

The Advanced Focus System allows you to adjust the light beam from a broad floodlight to a narrow spotlight:

  • To achieve a wide, homogeneous floodlight for close-range illumination, push the flashlight head forward.
  • To achieve a sharply focused, long-distance spotlight, pull the flashlight head backward.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the lens clean for optimal light output. Use a lens cleaning cloth if necessary.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Always use high-quality AAA alkaline batteries.
  • Remove batteries if the flashlight will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
  • Replace all four batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
  • The P7 CORE is also compatible with NiMH rechargeable batteries (not supplied).

5.3 Water Resistance (IP54)

The Ledlenser P7 CORE has an IP54 rating, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and splashing water from any direction. It is suitable for use in various weather conditions, including light rain. It is not designed for submersion in water.

6. Troubleshooting
