2. Setup
2.1 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the headlamp's dedicated rechargeable battery. Connect the magnetic end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the battery pack. Connect the USB-A end of the cable to a suitable USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter). The charging indicator lights on the battery pack will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 5.5 hours.

2.2 Adjusting the Headband
Place the headlamp on your head. Adjust the elastic headband straps to ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The headlamp should be snug enough to stay in place during activity but not so tight as to cause discomfort. The lamp head can be tilted up or down to direct the light beam as needed.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off
To turn the headlamp on or off, press the power button located on the side of the lamp head. A single press will turn the light on to its last used setting or a default low setting.
3.2 Brightness Control (Stepless Dimming)
The H15R Core features stepless dimming. While the light is on, press and hold the power button to gradually increase or decrease the brightness. Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached. The headlamp also has predefined modes:
- Boost Mode: Double-press the power button quickly to activate maximum brightness (2,500 lumens) for a short period.
- Power Mode: Standard high brightness (1,000 lumens).
- Low Power Mode: Energy-saving low brightness (20 lumens) for extended runtimes.
3.3 Focusing the Light Beam
The headlamp utilizes Ledlenser's Advanced Focus System. To adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a focused spot beam, rotate the bezel around the lens. This allows for versatile illumination depending on your activity.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
Wipe the headlamp and headband with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the charging port is clean and dry before charging. The Flex Sealing technology provides IP67 protection, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion in water (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes).
4.2 Battery Care
The Li-ion battery is designed for long life. For optimal performance, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing the headlamp for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% capacity and store in a cool, dry place. Recharge every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
4.3 Storage
Store the headlamp in a dry, cool environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the headlamp is turned off to prevent accidental activation and battery drain.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Headlamp does not turn on:
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the headlamp to the charger and check if the charging indicator lights activate. - Light is dim or flickers:
The battery may be low. Recharge the battery fully. Check for any debris on the lens that might obstruct the light. - Headlamp does not charge:
Verify that the magnetic charging cable is securely connected to both the headlamp and the USB power source. Try a different USB port or power adapter. Ensure the charging contacts are clean. - Focus adjustment is stiff:
Clean the focus mechanism with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using lubricants.
