Setup

Before First Use:

Operating Instructions

Boiling Water:

1. Fill the Kettle: Press the one-touch lid release button on the handle to open the lid. Fill the kettle with fresh water, ensuring it is between the MIN (0.5L) and MAX (1.8L) fill lines. Do not overfill or underfill.
2. Close the Lid: Securely close the lid until it clicks into place.
3. Place on Power Base: Place the kettle firmly on its power base.
4. Start Boiling: Push the power switch down. The blue LED indicator lights will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
5. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water reaches boiling point, and the LED lights will extinguish. The power switch will also flip up.
6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from the base using the stay-cool handle and pour the hot water. The spout is designed for precise pouring.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Regular Cleaning:

• Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• The kettle’s large opening and clear glass give you easier access to the interior. The inside can be cleaned with the handheld sponge brush included in this purchase, helping you to clean deposits with ease.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.

Descaling:

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. To descale:

1. Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
2. Boil the mixture and let it stand for 20-30 minutes.
3. Discard the mixture and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water.
4. For stubborn deposits, gently scrub with a non-abrasive brush or sponge.

Troubleshooting

• Kettle not turning on: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet and the kettle is correctly seated on the power base. Check if the power switch is pushed down.
• Kettle not boiling: Verify that the water level is between the MIN and MAX marks. Ensure the power switch is fully engaged.
• Water tastes unusual: Perform the initial cleaning steps (boiling and discarding water) multiple times. If limescale is present, descale the kettle as instructed in the Maintenance & Cleaning section.
