Controls and Features Overview

Front Panel Controls:
- INPUT: 1/4-inch instrument input jack.
- LED Screen: Displays current amp model, tuner information, and other settings.
- GAIN: Adjusts the input gain level.
- TREBLE: Adjusts the high-frequency response.
- MID: Adjusts the mid-range frequency response.
- BASS: Adjusts the low-frequency response.
- VOLUME: Adjusts the overall output volume.
- LIVE/PRESET Button: Toggles between Live mode (manual settings) and Preset mode (stored settings). Hold to store current settings as a preset.

Setup
- Power Connection: Connect the provided DC18V power adapter to the 'DC IN 18V 2A' jack on the rear panel of the amplifier. Plug the adapter into a suitable power outlet.
- Power On: Flip the 'POWER' switch on the rear panel to the ON position. The LED screen and control lights will illuminate.
- Instrument Connection: Connect your guitar, bass, or acoustic instrument to the 'INPUT' jack on the front panel using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Volume Adjustment: Before playing, ensure the 'VOLUME' knob is set to a low level to avoid sudden loud sounds.
Operating Instructions
1. Selecting Amp Models
The Hornet White amplifier offers 9 distinct digital amp models. Use the Amp Model Selector Dial on the top right of the front panel to choose your desired tone. The selected model will be displayed on the LED screen.

2. Adjusting Tone (EQ and Gain)
Use the 'GAIN', 'TREBLE', 'MID', and 'BASS' knobs to fine-tune your sound. Experiment with different settings to achieve your preferred tone for each amp model.
3. Using Effects (Modulation, Delay, Reverb)
The amplifier includes built-in modulation, delay, and reverb effects. Adjust the 'MOD', 'DELAY', and 'REVERB' knobs to control the intensity of these effects. The specific effect type (e.g., Chorus, Analog Delay, Room Reverb) can be selected by pressing the corresponding M.TAP or D.TAP buttons repeatedly to cycle through options, or by holding them down for tap tempo functionality.
4. Saving and Recalling Presets
The Hornet White allows you to store and recall up to 9 presets.
- To Save a Preset: Adjust your desired amp model, EQ, gain, and effects settings. Press and hold the 'LIVE/PRESET' button until the LED screen flashes, indicating the preset has been saved to the currently selected slot.
- To Recall a Preset: In Preset mode (indicated by a blue light on the 'LIVE/PRESET' button), turn the Amp Model Selector Dial to choose one of the 9 preset slots. The amplifier will load the saved settings for that slot.
- Live Mode: Press the 'LIVE/PRESET' button briefly to switch to Live mode. In this mode, the amplifier responds directly to the physical knob positions.
5. Using the Tuner
Press the 'TUNER' button to activate the built-in high-precision tuner. The LED screen will display the note and tuning accuracy. Play a single string to tune your instrument. Press the 'TUNER' button again to exit tuner mode.

6. Bluetooth Connectivity
The Hornet White amplifier supports Bluetooth for connecting external audio devices (e.g., smartphone, tablet) to play along with backing tracks or music.
- Pairing: Press the 'BT' button to activate Bluetooth pairing mode. The BT indicator will flash. On your audio device, search for 'MOOER HORNET' in the Bluetooth settings and connect. Once paired, the BT indicator will glow solid blue.
- Audio Playback: Play audio from your connected device. The audio will play through the amplifier's speaker.
7. AUX IN and Headphone Output
- AUX IN: Connect an external audio source (e.g., MP3 player) to the 'AUX IN' jack on the rear panel using a 3.5mm stereo cable.
- Headphone Output: For silent practice, connect headphones to the 'HEADPHONE' output jack on the rear panel. The main speaker output will be muted automatically.
