  • TFT Screen: Displays current station, time, weather, and menu options.

4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

The TX-153 requires a Wi-Fi connection to access internet radio stations.

  1. Upon first power-on, the radio will guide you through the network setup process.
  2. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks displayed on the TFT screen.
  3. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the navigation controls. The radio supports WEP, WPA, and WPA2 (PSK) encryption.

  1. From the main menu, select "Internet Radio".
  2. Browse stations by genre, region, or search for specific stations.
  3. Press the OK button or Volume/Navigation knob to select a station.
  4. To save a station as a favorite, press the FAV button. The radio can store up to 250 favorite stations.

5.2 USB Playback

Play your personal music collection from a USB storage device.

  1. Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front of the radio.
  2. From the main menu, select "USB".
  3. Navigate through your folders and files using the controls.
  4. Supported file formats include WMA, MP3, AAC, AAC+, FLAC, and WAV.
