Operating Instructions

Lighting the Pilot:

  1. Ensure the gas supply valve is open.
  2. Turn the control knob to the "PILOT" setting.
  3. Press and hold the control knob down.
  4. While holding the knob, repeatedly press the electronic igniter button until the pilot flame ignites.
  5. Continue to hold the control knob down for 30-60 seconds after ignition to allow the thermocouple to heat up. Release the knob; the pilot should remain lit. If not, repeat steps 3-5.

Operating the Main Burner:

  4. To completely turn off the heater, turn the control knob to the "OFF" position.

Thermostat Operation:

The burner will automatically reignite when the room temperature drops below the set point. Settings 1-5 correspond to increasing temperatures. The "HI" setting will keep the burner continuously on.
