Setup and Installation

1. Compatibility and Wiring

The LoraTap Shutter Switch requires a neutral wire for installation. Ensure your motor has 4 wires (blue, brown, black, green/yellow). This product is only compatible with 4-wire motors and supports a maximum load of 600W.

2. Wi-Fi Network Requirements

The device operates on a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Ensure your Wi-Fi router is within 10 meters of the switch for optimal signal strength and reliable connection. 5GHz networks are not supported.

3. App Installation and Pairing

Download the "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions for easy device pairing.

1. Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz compatible.
2. Open the Tuya or Smart Life app and select "Add Device".
3. Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
4. The device will successfully pair with the app.

Operating Instructions

1. Manual Touch Control

The switch features a responsive touch panel. Simply tap the 'Up', 'Pause', or 'Down' icons on the switch to control your blinds or shutters manually.

2. App Control

Once paired with the Smart Life app, you can control your blinds or shutters remotely from anywhere. The app allows for full opening, partial opening, closing, and pausing.

3. Voice Control

4. Timer Function

5. Device Sharing and Group Control

Multiple family members can control the same switch by sharing the device through the Smart Life app. You can also group multiple LoraTap switches to control them simultaneously with a single command.

Maintenance

The LoraTap Black WiFi Shutter Switch requires minimal maintenance. To clean the tempered glass panel, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface. Ensure the switch is powered off before cleaning.

Troubleshooting

• Device not connecting to Wi-Fi: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Check that the switch is within 10 meters of your router. Restart your router and try the pairing process again.
• Voice control not working: Verify that the LoraTap switch is correctly linked to your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant account in the Smart Life app. Check your internet connection and ensure your voice assistant device is online.
• Blinds/shutters not responding: Check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure and correct. Confirm that the motor is a 4-wire type and that the total load does not exceed 600W. Ensure the power supply to the switch is on.
• Touch panel unresponsive: Ensure the panel is clean and dry. If the issue persists, try cycling the power to the switch at the circuit breaker.
