Setup
1. Battery Installation and Charging
- Open the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the camcorder.
- Insert one of the provided 1500mAh Lithium Ion batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
- To charge the battery, you can either insert it into the included battery charging stand and connect the stand to a USB power source, or connect the camcorder directly to a USB power source using the USB cable. The CHG/BUSY indicator will show charging status.
- Ensure batteries are fully charged before first use for optimal performance.
2. Memory Card Insertion
A memory card (not included) is required to store photos and videos.
- Locate the memory card slot, typically near the battery compartment.
- Insert a Class 10 or above SDHC/SDXC card (up to 128GB) into the slot until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently press the card to release it.
3. Attaching the External Microphone and Lens Hood
- External Microphone: Slide the external microphone onto the hot shoe interface on top of the camcorder until it locks. Connect the microphone's cable to the microphone input port. This enhances audio clarity and reduces noise.
- Lens Hood: Attach the lens hood to the front of the camcorder lens. The hood helps block excess light, prevents lens flare, and protects the lens from accidental damage.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power Button to turn the camcorder on or off. The 3.0-inch IPS touchscreen will illuminate.
2. Basic Recording and Photography
- Mode Selection: Press the Mode Button to switch between Video Recording Mode, Photo Mode, and Playback Mode.
- Video Recording: In Video Recording Mode, press the Video Start/Stop Button to begin recording. Press it again to stop. The camcorder supports 4K video resolution.
- Taking Photos: In Photo Mode, press the Shutter Button to capture a 48MP image.
- Zoom: Use the W/T Button to zoom in (Telephoto) or zoom out (Wide) with 18x digital zoom.
- Pause Function: During video recording, you can use the pause function to temporarily stop and resume recording within the same file.
3. Using the Touchscreen
The 3.0-inch IPS touchscreen rotates 270 degrees for flexible viewing angles, including self-recording. Tap on the screen to access various settings and functions, similar to a smartphone interface.
4. Infrared Night Vision
To activate Infrared (IR) Night Vision, simply press the Power Button briefly while the camera is on. This allows for clear recording and photography in low-light or dark environments.

5. Remote Control Operation
The included 2.4G wireless remote control allows for convenient operation from up to 23 feet away, with 360-degree control. Use it to start/stop recording, take photos, and navigate menus without touching the camcorder.
6. Webcam Functionality
Connect the camcorder to your computer using the USB cable. Select "PC Camera" mode on the camcorder's screen. The camcorder will then function as a webcam for video calls or live streaming.
7. HDMI Output
Connect the camcorder to an HDTV or monitor using the HDMI cable to view your recordings in high definition. Note that recording may not be supported while HDMI output is active on some devices.
8. WiFi Function
The camcorder supports WiFi connectivity. Refer to the on-screen menu for instructions on connecting to a mobile device for remote viewing and file transfer.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camcorder body. For the lens, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
- Storage: When not in use, store the camcorder in the provided DV bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods.

- Memory Card: Regularly back up your data from the memory card to a computer or external storage device. Format the memory card periodically within the camcorder's settings to maintain optimal performance.
