1. Introduction and Compatibility

This document provides instructions for the Easytry123 IR Replacement Remote Control, designed to operate various Daikin air conditioner models. This remote functions as a direct infrared replacement for your original unit's remote control.

Important Compatibility Note: Before use, ensure that your original remote control visually matches the replacement remote shown in this manual. While this remote is compatible with many Daikin models, some advanced or specific functions present on your original remote may not be available if the replacement remote does not have the corresponding buttons.

2. Setup: Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA batteries for operation. Please follow these steps to install them:

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Slide the cover downwards or press the latch (if present) to open the compartment.
  3. Insert two new AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

3. Operating Instructions

Point the remote control directly at the infrared receiver on your Daikin air conditioner unit. The remote's LCD screen will display the current settings.

Button Functions:

  • ON/OFF: Press to turn the air conditioner unit on or off.
  • MODE: Cycles through available operating modes such as Cool, Heat, Fan, Dry, and Auto.

4. Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

Replace batteries when the remote's display becomes dim, or the remote stops responding to button presses. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new ones of the same type.

Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners, abrasive materials, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the remote's surface or internal components.

Storage:

If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the device.

  • Remote not responding:
