Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Lights do not turn on. Power connection loose; power adapter faulty; strip damaged. Check all connections. Ensure the power outlet is working. Test with another compatible power adapter if available.
Remote control not working. Battery depleted; IR receiver blocked; remote out of range. Replace remote battery. Ensure no obstacles are between the remote and the IR receiver. Point the remote directly at the receiver.
Cannot connect to Wi-Fi/App. Incorrect Wi-Fi password; 5GHz Wi-Fi network; device not in pairing mode. Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Double-check Wi-Fi password. Power cycle the lights 3 times to enter pairing mode (rapid blinking).
Lights are dim or inconsistent. Insufficient power; damaged section of strip. Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and providing sufficient power. Inspect the strip for any visible damage or bends.
Adhesive is not holding. Surface not clean; unsuitable surface material; environmental factors. Clean the surface thoroughly before application. For textured or porous surfaces, consider using additional adhesive clips or stronger double-sided tape.
