3. Setup

Connecting to a Battery:

  2. Connect the red (positive) battery clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal.
  3. Connect the black (negative) battery clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal. For vehicles, connect the black clamp to a non-moving metal part of the vehicle chassis or engine block, away from the battery and fuel line.
  4. Plug the charger's AC power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Battery Charging and Maintaining

The charger automatically detects the battery type (AGM, GEL, or WET) and applies a 3-stage charging process: fast charge, top-off, and trickle charge. It will automatically switch to maintainer mode once the battery is fully charged.

  3. Attempt to start the vehicle. If the vehicle does not start after 5-10 seconds, wait a few minutes before trying again.

4.3. Battery Reconditioning

The battery reconditioning feature uses electric pulse technology to help reverse sulfate build-up on battery plates, improving charge capability and extending battery life.

  1. Connect the charger to the battery and AC power.
  2. Press the 'Battery Recondition' button. The LCD screen will indicate that the reconditioning process has started.
  3. Allow the process to complete. This may take several hours depending on the battery's condition.

4.4. Alternator Test

This function checks the vehicle's alternator to ensure it is properly charging the battery.
