4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting the Unit

4.2 Water Connections
Connect the water inlet and outlet pipes. The inlet is typically marked with blue, and the outlet with red. Ensure all connections are watertight. A flow control valve is included for managing water flow.

4.3 Electrical Connection

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off
Turn the central knob clockwise from the 'OFF' position to power on the unit. To turn off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise to 'OFF'.
5.2 Adjusting Water Temperature
Rotate the central knob to select the desired heating level. The knob features settings from minimum to maximum heat. The analog temperature display will show the current water temperature inside the tank.

5.3 LED Indicator
The LED indicator on the front panel will illuminate red when the water heater is actively heating. It will change to blue once the water has reached the set temperature.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your water heater.
- Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Scaling: The 'Blue Forever' heating element is designed to reduce scaling. However, in areas with very hard water, periodic descaling by a qualified technician may be beneficial.
- Inlet Filter: The unit has an inlet filter. Do not remove this filter when the unit is in use. Periodically check and clean the filter to prevent blockages and maintain water flow. Ensure power is disconnected before checking the filter.
- Professional Inspection: It is recommended to have the water heater inspected by a qualified technician annually.
