The Kingslim D4 is a high-performance dual dash camera system designed to record both front and rear views of your vehicle. It features 4K Ultra HD front recording and 1080P Full HD rear recording, built-in WiFi and GPS, a 3-inch IPS touchscreen, and advanced features like G-sensor, parking monitoring, and loop recording.

Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance of your dash cam. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Prepare the Micro SD Card

A U3 speed class Micro SD card (not included) is recommended for stable performance. The dash cam supports up to 256GB. Format the SD card in the dash cam before first use.

2. Install the Front Camera

  1. Clean the windshield area where the dash cam will be mounted.
  2. Attach the suction mount to the windshield, ensuring a secure fit.
  3. Slide the Kingslim D4 main unit onto the suction mount.
  4. Adjust the camera angle to ensure a clear view of the road ahead.

3. Install the Rear Camera

  1. Mount the rear camera on the rear windshield, ideally centered, using the adhesive pad.
  2. Route the rear camera cable to the front camera, tucking it neatly along the vehicle's headliner and A-pillar.
  3. Connect the rear camera cable to the designated port on the front camera.

4. Connect Power

  1. Connect the car charger to the dash cam's power input.
  2. Plug the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.
  3. The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: The dash cam powers on/off automatically with the vehicle's ignition. You can also manually power it on/off by pressing and holding the power button.
  • Recording: Recording starts automatically when the device is powered on. A red dot or recording icon will be visible on the screen.
  • 3" IPS Touchscreen: Navigate menus and settings directly on the screen by tapping the icons.

WiFi and App Control

The Kingslim D4 features built-in WiFi for easy connection to the KINGSLIM APP on your smartphone (Android and iOS). This allows for live view, video playback, downloading, and settings adjustment.

GPS Functionality

The built-in GPS module automatically records your driving route and speed, which can be viewed during video playback on the KINGSLIM app or a compatible PC player (e.g., GXplayer).

Troubleshooting
