9. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Appliance does not turn on or heat up. | Not plugged in correctly; power outlet issue; appliance malfunction. | Ensure the appliance is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Test the outlet with another device. If the problem persists, contact customer support. |
| Heat settings change accidentally during use. | Unintentional contact with the smart touch interface. | Double-tap the power button after selecting your desired heat setting to lock the screen. This prevents accidental changes. Adjust your grip to avoid touching the interface. |
| Curls are not holding or are inconsistent. | Incorrect heat setting; hair section too large; insufficient holding time; hair not fully dry. | Ensure hair is completely dry. Adjust the heat setting (higher for more defined curls, lower for looser waves). Use smaller hair sections (1-2 inches). Increase the holding time slightly. |
| Hair appears frizzy after styling. | Hair not fully dry; excessive heat; lack of heat protectant. | Ensure hair is completely dry before styling. Consider using a lower heat setting. Apply a heat protectant product before styling. The built-in ion generator helps reduce frizz. |
