Setup and Installation

This section outlines the steps for installing your Eogifee UC9050T Wall Control. This product is a transmitter only and requires an existing compatible receiver in your ceiling fan.

1. Power Disconnection

Before starting any electrical work, ensure the power supply to the ceiling fan circuit is completely disconnected at the main circuit breaker or fuse box. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.

2. Wiring Connections

Connect the wires from the wall control to the corresponding wires in your wall junction box. This device requires a neutral wire at home for proper operation.

  • Connect the Black Wire from the wall control to the Live (hot) wire from the wall.
  • Connect the Ground Wire (green or bare copper) from the wall control to the Ground wire from the wall.
  • Connect the remaining Black Wire from the wall control to the Neutral wire from the wall.

3. Setting DIP Switches

The UC9050T Wall Control uses 4 DIP switches to establish communication with your ceiling fan's receiver. These switches must match the pattern set on your existing ceiling fan receiver or original remote control.

  1. Locate the 4 DIP switches on the side of the new wall control.
  2. Using a small tool (like a pen or small screwdriver), slide the switches to match the exact ON/OFF pattern of your ceiling fan's receiver or previous remote.
  3. If you are replacing an old wall control, match the DIP switch settings from the old unit.
