Installation Instructions
The VEVOR drawer slides are designed for side-mount installation. Ensure the cabinet or mounting surface is structurally sound.
- Separate the Slide Components: Fully extend the drawer slide and locate the yellow release lever. Press the lever to separate the inner slide rail (which attaches to the drawer) from the outer and middle rails (which attach to the cabinet).
- Mount Outer/Middle Rails to Cabinet: Position the outer and middle slide rails on the side of the cabinet or mounting structure. Use a level to ensure they are perfectly horizontal. Mark the screw hole positions. Secure the rails using appropriate screws from the provided kit or suitable alternatives for your material. Ensure the installation distance (gap between the cabinet and drawer) is approximately 19.5 mm.
- Mount Inner Rails to Drawer: Attach the inner slide rails to the sides of your drawer. Align them carefully to ensure smooth operation. Secure with screws.
- Reassemble the Drawer: Align the inner slide rail on the drawer with the middle slide rail on the cabinet. Gently push the drawer into the cabinet until the slides engage and click into place. Test the drawer's movement.
Operating Instructions
Full Extension
These slides offer 3-fold full extension, allowing the drawer to extend completely out of the cabinet for full access to its contents. Simply pull the drawer outwards until it reaches its maximum extension.
Locking Mechanism
The slides feature a locking mechanism to secure the drawer in both the fully closed and fully extended positions.
- To Lock: When the drawer is fully closed or fully extended, the slides will automatically engage the lock.
- To Unlock and Move: To open a closed drawer or close an extended drawer, locate the yellow release lever (often visible at the front or rear of the slide when extended). Press or lift this lever to disengage the lock, then smoothly pull or push the drawer.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the slide rails with a clean, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a mild detergent solution and dry thoroughly.
