- Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Never immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your slow cooker, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Appliance does not turn on:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
- Check if the control knob is set to a cooking setting (LOW, HIGH, or KEEP WARM) and not OFF.
- Food is not cooking properly:
- Verify that the lid is properly seated on the stoneware crock to retain heat and moisture.
- Ensure the correct cooking setting (LOW or HIGH) is selected for your recipe and desired cooking time.
- Avoid frequently lifting the lid, as this releases heat and extends cooking time.
- Food is burning or overcooking:
- Check that the correct cooking setting is selected. HIGH setting cooks faster than LOW.
- Ensure the recipe is suitable for slow cooking and that liquid levels are adequate.
