2. Safety Information

• Read all instructions before operating the clock.
• Do not expose the unit to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, dust, or humidity.
• Use only the specified power source (AC 120V outlet). Do not use with 240V.
• Keep the unit away from water or other liquids.

3. Setup

3.1 Power Connection

To power the clock, plug the power cord into a standard US 120V electrical outlet. The clock will immediately display the time.

3.2 Battery Backup Installation

For backup power during an outage, insert one 9V battery (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the clock. During battery backup, the display will go blank, but time and alarm settings will be retained, and the alarm will still sound at the set time.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Setting the Time

1. Locate the 'TIME SET' button on the back or bottom of the clock.
2. Press and hold the 'TIME SET' button. The hour digits will begin to flash.
3. Use the 'HOUR' and 'MINUTE' buttons to adjust the time. Observe the 'PM' indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
4. Release the 'TIME SET' button to save the time.

4.2 Setting the Alarm

1. Locate the 'ALARM SET' button.
2. Press and hold the 'ALARM SET' button. The alarm hour digits will flash.
3. Use the 'HOUR' and 'MINUTE' buttons to set your desired alarm time.
4. Release the 'ALARM SET' button to save the alarm time. The 'ALM' indicator on the display will light up, indicating the alarm is active.

4.3 Alarm Volume Control

The alarm features a high/low volume setting. Refer to the controls on the back or side of the clock to adjust the alarm volume to your preference.

4.4 Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the 'SNOOZE' button (usually a large button on top) to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. You can press the snooze button repeatedly until the alarm is manually switched off.

4.5 Display Brightness Dimmer

The clock features a high/low brightness option for the LED display. Locate the 'DIMMER' or 'BRIGHTNESS' switch/button on the unit to adjust the display intensity to your comfort level, especially for nighttime viewing.

5. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace the 9V backup battery annually or as needed to ensure continuous backup functionality.
• Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the backup battery to prevent leakage.

• No Display/Clock Not Working:
  Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 120V outlet. Check if the outlet is receiving power. If using battery backup, remember the display goes blank during power outages, but internal functions are maintained.
• Alarm Not Sounding:
  Verify that the alarm time is set correctly and the 'ALM' indicator is lit on the display. Check the alarm volume setting.
• Display Too Bright/Dim:
  Adjust the brightness using the 'DIMMER' or 'BRIGHTNESS' control.
• Time Not Keeping Correctly:
