4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Before First Use

It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 200°C (390°F) before first use to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight smell may be present, which is normal.

4.2 Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place the food you wish to cook into the frying basket. Do not overfill the basket.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the frying pan with the basket back into the main unit until it clicks into place.
  3. Power On: Plug the appliance into a power outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Set Temperature and Time: Use the control panel to set the desired cooking temperature and time. Refer to recipe guidelines or the cooking chart for recommended settings.
  5. Start Cooking: Press the start button to begin the air frying process. The heating indicator light will turn on.
  6. Shake Basket (Optional): For even cooking, especially with smaller items, pull out the basket halfway through the cooking time and gently shake it. Then slide it back in. The air fryer will resume cooking automatically.
  7. Finish Cooking: When the set time has elapsed, the timer will chime. Carefully pull out the basket and pan.
  8. Remove Food: Use tongs to remove the cooked food from the basket. Avoid tipping the basket directly as hot oil may collect in the pan.
  9. Power Off: Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet after use.

4.3 Preheating

For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired cooking temperature before adding food.
