Product Overview

The Altec Lansing Nanobuds are truly wireless earbuds designed for freedom of movement and high-quality audio. They feature Bluetooth 5.0 technology for stable connectivity, intuitive touch controls, and a compact charging case for extended playtime. Setup

1. Initial Charging

1. Before first use, fully charge the Nanobuds and their charging case.
2. Connect the provided USB cable to the charging case and a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, wall adapter).
3. The indicator lights on the charging case will illuminate to show charging status. A full charge provides up to 16 hours of additional playtime from the case.
4. Ensure the earbuds are properly seated in the charging case. The earbuds themselves provide up to 4 hours of use on a single charge.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically enter pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "Altec Lansing Nanobuds" from the list of devices.
4. Once paired, the earbuds will automatically connect to your device when removed from the case and Bluetooth is enabled on your device.

Operating Instructions

Touch Controls

The Nanobuds feature intuitive touch controls for easy management of audio playback and calls.

• Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
• Next Track: Double tap on the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double tap on the left earbud.
• Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud.
• Reject Call: Press and hold on either earbud.
• Activate Voice Assistant: Triple tap on either earbud.
• Volume Control: Volume is typically controlled via your connected device. Some models may support touch-based volume control by pressing and holding (left for volume down, right for volume up), refer to the full user guide for specific details.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Gently wipe the earbuds and charging case with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Water Resistance: The Nanobuds feature an IPX5 waterproof design, protecting them from sweat and light rain. They are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the charging port is dry before charging.
• Storage: When not in use, store the earbuds in their charging case to protect them and keep them charged. Store in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures.
• Ear Tips: Periodically remove and clean the ear tips. Replace them if they become damaged or worn to maintain optimal sound quality and fit.

Common Issues and Solutions:

• Earbuds not pairing with each other: Place both earbuds back into the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then open the lid again. This often resets the connection.
• Earbuds not connecting to device:
  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
  2. Forget the "Altec Lansing Nanobuds" from your device's Bluetooth settings and attempt to pair again.
  3. Ensure earbuds are fully charged.
• No sound or low volume:
  1. Check the volume level on both your device and the earbuds.
  2. Ensure earbuds are properly seated in your ears.
  3. Try different sized ear tips for a better seal.
• Charging case not charging:
  1. Verify the USB cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
  2. Try a different USB cable or power adapter.
  3. Ensure the charging contacts on the earbuds and in the case are clean and free of debris.
