Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the head torch unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover by gently prying it open or sliding it according to the markings.
- Insert three (3) AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.

2. Headband Adjustment
- Attach the elastic headband to the head torch unit if it is not already connected.
- Place the head torch on your head.
- Adjust the length of the elastic strap using the buckle until it fits comfortably and securely without being too tight.

Operating Instructions
The Ansmann HD120B Head Torch features a single button for power control and mode selection.
- Power On: Press the power button once to turn on the head torch. It will activate in 100% light output mode (125 lumens).
- Change Modes: While the head torch is on, press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the light modes:
- First press: 100% light output (125 lumens)
- Second press: 30% light output (37 lumens)
- Third press: Flashing light mode
- Power Off: After cycling through all modes, pressing the button a fourth time will turn the head torch off. Alternatively, if the head torch has been in one mode for more than 5 seconds, a single press will turn it off directly.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your head torch.
- Cleaning: Wipe the head torch with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the head torch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For long-term storage (more than a month), remove the batteries to prevent leakage and corrosion.
- Battery Replacement: Replace all three AAA batteries simultaneously when the light dims significantly or stops working.
