Operating Instructions
Basic Scanning
Point the scanner's window at the barcode you wish to scan. Press the trigger button. A red scanning beam will appear. Ensure the beam crosses the entire barcode for a successful read. A successful scan is typically indicated by a beep and/or a green light.

Supported Barcode Types
The NT-1228BL can decode a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes, including:
- 1D Barcodes: UPC/EAN, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Interleaved 2 of 5, Industrial 2 of 5, Matrix 2 of 5, Codabar, MSI, etc.

Upload Modes
The scanner supports two primary data upload modes:
1. Instant Upload Mode
In this mode, scanned barcodes are immediately transmitted to the connected device. This is the default mode and is suitable for real-time data entry.
2. Storage Mode (Offline Mode)
When out of range or not connected, the scanner can store up to 130,000 barcodes in its internal memory. To upload stored data, reconnect the scanner to your device and scan the "Upload Data" barcode (refer to the programming guide for specific barcodes). The stored data will then be transmitted.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain optimal performance, keep the scanner's window clean. Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can damage the scanning window.
Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the scanner in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the battery is partially charged before long-term storage to preserve battery health.
