Operating Instructions
AI-Powered Human Detection
The camera utilizes advanced AI to differentiate human movement from other motion sources, such as pets or swaying curtains. This feature helps reduce false alarms, ensuring you receive relevant notifications. You can enable or disable this feature and adjust sensitivity settings within the Kami Home or YI Home app.
24/7 Surveillance with Night Vision
The camera is equipped with 8 individual 940nm infrared (IR) LEDs, which automatically activate in low-light conditions. This provides clear 1080p video footage even in complete darkness, ensuring continuous monitoring.
Activity Zone Customization
Define specific areas within the camera's field of view where you want to receive motion detection alerts. This allows you to focus monitoring on critical areas and ignore activity in less important zones.

Compatibility with Alexa & Google Assistant
The Kami Mini Camera integrates with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. You can use voice commands to view your camera's live stream on compatible smart displays (e.g., Echo Show, Google Nest Hub) or smart TVs.

- Firmware Updates: Regularly check the Kami Home or YI Home app for available firmware updates. Keeping your camera's firmware up-to-date ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
- Power Cycle: If the camera experiences minor issues, try unplugging it from the power source for 10-15 seconds and then plugging it back in. This can often resolve temporary glitches.
