4. Charging the Battery

The aircraft uses a 3.7V 300mAh Lithium-Ion battery. Always use the provided USB and Balance Charger for safe and efficient charging.

  • Connect the USB charger to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter).
  • Connect the aircraft battery to the balance charger.
  • The indicator light on the charger will show the charging status. Refer to the charger's specific instructions for light indications (e.g., red for charging, green for fully charged).
  • Do not leave batteries charging unattended. Disconnect the battery once fully charged.

Caution: Use only the specified charger. Improper charging can lead to battery damage or fire hazards.

5. Remote Controller Overview

The remote controller operates on a 2.4GHz frequency, providing a stable and extended control range. It requires 1 AA battery (included).

Controller Functions:

  • Throttle Joystick: Controls acceleration (up/down movement).
  • Direction Joystick: Controls turning left/right and ascending/descending.
  • Rudder Switch: Toggles between small rudder mode (for beginners) and big rudder mode (for professionals, enabling 360° flips).
  • Power Switch: Turns the remote controller on/off.
  • Power LED: Indicates the power status of the remote controller.

Ensure the remote controller batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge before each flight.

6. Flying Instructions

Before your first flight, ensure you are in an open, clear area away from obstacles, people, and animals. Always check weather conditions; avoid flying in strong winds.

Pre-Flight Checklist:

  • Aircraft battery fully charged and securely connected.
  • Remote controller batteries installed and powered on.
  • Aircraft and remote controller are paired (refer to specific pairing instructions if needed, usually automatic upon power-on).
  • Check all control surfaces (rudder, elevators) respond correctly to remote input.

Basic Flight Controls:

  • Take-off: Gently increase throttle. For ground take-off, allow the plane to gain speed on a flat surface. For hand launch, gently toss the plane forward while increasing throttle.
  • Ascend/Descend: Use the direction joystick to control altitude.
  • Turn Left/Right: Use the direction joystick to steer the aircraft.
  • Accelerate/Decelerate: Adjust the throttle joystick.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your RC airplane.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the aircraft with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals.
  • Propeller Inspection: Regularly check propellers for damage (cracks, bends). Replace damaged propellers immediately using the spare set provided.
  • Battery Care: Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Do not overcharge or over-discharge. Disconnect batteries from the aircraft and charger when not in use.
  • EPP Material: The EPP foam is durable but can be damaged by sharp objects or severe impacts. Minor damage can often be repaired with appropriate foam-safe adhesive.
  • Storage: Store the aircraft in a safe place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to prevent material degradation.
