1. Introduction
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your INTBUYING Electric Projector Lift. Designed for discreet integration, this ceiling-mounted lift allows your projector to be hidden above the ceiling when not in use, providing a clean and uncluttered environment. It features an adjustable height mechanism for flexible viewing positions and a quiet 25W synchronous gear motor for minimal operational noise.
The lift is suitable for a wide range of applications, including home theaters, conference rooms, classrooms, and other public venues where a hidden projector solution is desired.

2. Safety Information
- Read all instructions carefully before installation and operation.
- Ensure the installation surface (ceiling) can support the combined weight of the projector lift and your projector.
- All electrical connections must be performed by a qualified electrician and comply with local electrical codes.
- Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the unit. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Keep hands and objects clear of the lift mechanism during operation to prevent injury or damage.
- Ensure the projector is securely mounted to the lift's tray before operation.
3. Setup and Installation
The installation process is designed to be straightforward, typically taking around 10 minutes for the main setup. Ensure you have all components and tools ready before beginning.
3.1 Package Contents
Verify that all components are present:
- Projector Lift Unit
- Wireless Remote Control (batteries not included)
- Mounting Hardware (screws, anchors, etc.)
- Power Cable

3.2 Mounting the Lift
- Identify the desired installation location on the ceiling. Ensure there is sufficient space above the ceiling for the lift mechanism when retracted.
- Mark the drilling points on the ceiling according to the lift's mounting plate dimensions.
- Drill pilot holes and securely attach the lift unit to the ceiling using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure it is level and firmly secured.
- Connect the power cable to the lift unit and route it to a suitable power outlet (110V).
3.3 Attaching the Projector
- Carefully attach your projector to the lift's mounting tray using the appropriate screws and brackets. Ensure the projector is centered and balanced.
- Adjust the projector's position on the tray for optimal alignment. The mounting plate allows for minor adjustments to achieve precise positioning.

3.4 Setting Upper and Lower Limits
The lift allows you to set specific upper (retracted) and lower (extended) limits for its travel. This ensures the projector stops at your desired positions automatically.
- Set the Upper Limit: Use the remote control to raise the bottom plate until it reaches the desired fully retracted position (flush with the ceiling). Once in position, press the STOP button on the remote. Locate the two upper limit screws on the lift mechanism. Loosen these screws and adjust them to the stop location. Tighten the screws. In future operations, the lift will automatically stop at this upper limit without needing to press STOP.
- Set the Lower Limit: Use the remote control to lower the bottom plate until it reaches the desired extended position. Once in position, press the STOP button on the remote. Locate the two lower limit screws on the lift mechanism. Loosen these screws and adjust them to the stop location. Tighten the screws. In future operations, the lift will automatically stop at this lower limit without needing to press STOP.
4. Operating Instructions
The INTBUYING Electric Projector Lift is operated using the included wireless remote control.
4.1 Remote Control Operation
- Insert batteries into the remote control. (Note: Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately).
- Use the 'UP' button to raise the projector lift.
- Use the 'DOWN' button to lower the projector lift.
- Use the 'STOP' button to halt the lift at any desired position.
Once the upper and lower limits are set (as described in Section 3.4), the lift will automatically stop at these positions when the 'UP' or 'DOWN' buttons are pressed, eliminating the need to manually press 'STOP' at the endpoints.

4.2 Automatic Synchronization
The projector lift can be synchronized with your projector. This feature allows the lift to automatically extend or retract in conjunction with your projector's power state. Refer to your projector's manual for specific instructions on how to enable and configure this synchronization feature, if supported.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your projector lift.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior surfaces of the lift with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Annually inspect all mounting hardware and electrical connections to ensure they are secure. Check the lift mechanism for any signs of wear or damage.
- Lubrication: The internal moving parts are factory-lubricated and generally do not require additional lubrication. If you notice unusual noise or stiffness, contact customer support.
- Remote Control Batteries: Replace remote control batteries when the range decreases or the remote becomes unresponsive.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your projector lift, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Lift does not move:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected and the power outlet is functional.
- Ensure the remote control batteries are not depleted and are inserted correctly.
- Verify that there are no obstructions preventing the lift from moving.
- Remote control is unresponsive:
- Replace the remote control batteries.
- Ensure you are within the effective range of the remote control.
- Lift stops unexpectedly or does not reach full extension/retraction:
- Re-check the upper and lower limit settings as described in Section 3.4. They may need to be reset.
- Inspect for any physical obstructions.
- Unusual noise during operation:
- Ensure all mounting screws are tight.
- Contact customer support if the noise persists.
If the problem persists after attempting these solutions, please contact INTBUYING customer support for assistance.
