Setup and Installation
This fixture is designed for easy installation in existing 6-inch recessed housings or new construction/remodeling projects. Ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before proceeding.
- Prepare the Recessed Housing: Remove any existing bulb and trim from the recessed can.
- Select Color Temperature: Locate the slide switch on the back of the LED downlight fixture. Before installation, select your desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K). Once installed, this switch is not easily accessible.
- Connect the Adapter: Screw the E26 adapter (standard screw-in base) into the existing bulb socket inside the recessed housing.
- Connect the Fixture: Plug the orange quick connector from the LED downlight into the corresponding connector from the E26 adapter. Ensure a secure connection.
- Insert the Downlight: Gently push the LED downlight into the recessed housing. The spring clips on the sides of the fixture will secure it in place against the ceiling.
- Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.
Operating Instructions
Changing Color Temperature
The desired color temperature (2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K) is selected using a slide switch located on the back of the fixture. This selection must be made prior to installation.
Activating Nightlight Mode
To activate the Nightlight mode (2000K Soft Amber glow):
- Ensure the light is currently OFF.
- Quickly toggle your wall switch ON/OFF/ON. The fixture will illuminate in Nightlight mode.
To return to the standard downlight mode from Nightlight mode:
- Quickly toggle your wall switch OFF/ON/OFF. The fixture will return to the previously selected standard color temperature.
Dimming Function
This LED downlight is dimmable down to 10% with compatible LED dimmer switches. Refer to the product specifications or packaging for a list of recommended dimmer models.
Maintenance
The integrated LED light source does not require bulb replacement. For cleaning, ensure the power is turned OFF at the circuit breaker.
