1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the LUKAT Laser Tag Guns with Vests. This infrared laser tag set provides an engaging and interactive group activity for kids and adults. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper use, setup, operation, and maintenance of your laser tag set. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.

2. Safety Information

• Age Recommendation: This product is recommended for ages 6 and up.
• Battery Safety: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Always insert batteries with correct polarity. Remove batteries if the product is not used for an extended period.
• Infrared Emission: This product uses Child Safety Infrared Signal Emission (0.9mW). Avoid aiming directly into eyes at close range.
• Supervision: Adult supervision is recommended during play.
• Choking Hazard: Keep small parts away from young children.

4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

Each laser tag gun and vest requires 3 x AA 1.5V batteries (not included). A total of 24 AA batteries are needed for the complete 4-player set.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of each laser tag gun and vest.
2. Using the provided screwdriver, unscrew the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert 3 x AA batteries into each compartment, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

4.2 Attaching Vest Straps

The vests come with adjustable straps for comfortable wear.

1. Thread the adjustable straps through the loops on the vest.
2. Adjust the straps to fit securely and comfortably over the player's shoulders and around their torso.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

• Guns: Locate the power switch on the side of the gun. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on.
• Vests: Locate the power switch on the vest. Slide it to the "ON" position to power on. The vest will blink and emit sounds.

5.2 Team Selection

The set supports up to 4 teams (Red, Blue, Green, White). To select a team:

1. After powering on, press the "Team Select/Activation" button on your gun to cycle through the available team colors.
2. Once your team color is selected, the gun and vest will synchronize to that color.

Note: Due to the anti-cheating function, team colors cannot be changed once a game has started. If you need to change teams, you must reset the system (see Troubleshooting).

5.3 Weapon Selection

Each gun offers four unique weapon modes with different bullet counts and life damage per shot:

To change your weapon, press the "Weapon Select" button on your gun. The gun will indicate the current weapon mode.

5.4 Gameplay Mechanics

• Shooting: Aim your gun at an opponent's vest or gun and press the trigger to fire. The gun will emit lifelike shooting sounds and tactile vibrations.
• Hit Detection: When hit, your vest will vibrate and flash, and your life value will decrease. The vests have sensors to detect hits.
• Life Value: The vests and guns display your remaining life value. When your life value reaches zero, you are out of the game.
• Increase Life Value: To increase your life value during gameplay, press the "Team Switch/Activation" button on your gun for 2 seconds. This will add 3 life points.
• Resurrect Teammates: To resurrect a teammate, aim your gun at their gun's muzzle and press the "Team Switch/Activation" button for 2 seconds. The system will prompt "Full Blood Resurrection," restoring their full life value.
• Anti-Cheating Function: The system includes an anti-cheating function. Once a game starts, team colors cannot be changed, and the system does not automatically reset after a game over. Manual reset is required (see Troubleshooting).

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the guns and vests with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Storage: Store the laser tag set in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
• Battery Care: Remove batteries from the devices if they will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.

7. Troubleshooting

• No Power: Ensure batteries are correctly installed and fully charged. Check that the power switch is in the "ON" position.
• System Reset / Changing Teams After Game Over: If the game is over or you need to change teams, aim your gun at an opposite teammate's gun muzzle and have them press the "Team Switch/Activation" button for 2 seconds. The system will prompt "Full Blood Resurrection," indicating a successful reset.
• Inaccurate Hits: Ensure there are no obstructions between the gun and the vest/gun sensor. Play in an open area for best results.
• Sound Issues: Check battery levels. Low batteries can affect sound quality.
