Setup
1. Install the Battery
Open the battery cover on the bottom of the mouse. Insert the included AA alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery cover securely.
2. Connect the USB Micro Receiver
Insert the USB micro receiver into an available USB-A port on your computer. The computer should automatically detect and install the necessary drivers.
3. Turn On the Mouse
Locate the power switch on the bottom of the mouse and slide it to the 'ON' position. The mouse is now ready for use.

Operating Instructions
Basic Mouse Functions
- Left Click: Primary action, selection.
- Right Click: Opens context menus.
- Scroll Wheel: Scrolls documents and web pages vertically. Can also be clicked for middle-click functionality.
- Back Button: Located on the side, this button navigates back in web browsers or file explorers.

Adjusting Pointer Speed (DPI)
The mouse offers two pointer speed settings: 800 DPI and 1600 DPI. To switch between these settings, use the DPI switch located on the bottom of the mouse. Slide the switch to your desired sensitivity.
Presentation Mode
To utilize the presentation mode and customize button functions, download and install the 'ELECOM Mouse Assistant' software from the official ELECOM website. Once installed, you can configure the mouse to switch between normal mouse operation and a presentation mode that allows control over slides (e.g., forward, backward) during presentations. The software also allows for detailed customization of button actions, scroll behavior, and cursor movement in presentation mode.

Battery Replacement

Maintenance
To maintain optimal performance, keep the mouse clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface of the mouse. For the optical sensor, use a cotton swab lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol to gently clean the sensor area. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Troubleshooting
- Mouse not responding:
- Ensure the mouse power switch is 'ON'.
- Check if the battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the USB micro receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port on your computer. Try a different USB port.
- Restart your computer.
- Erratic cursor movement:
- Clean the optical sensor on the bottom of the mouse.
- Ensure you are using the mouse on a suitable surface. Highly reflective or transparent surfaces may affect tracking.
- Check for interference from other 2.4GHz wireless devices.
- Buttons not working:
- Ensure the mouse is powered on and connected.
- If using 'ELECOM Mouse Assistant', check button assignments within the software.
