Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the waffle maker and all accessories from the packaging. Dispose of packaging materials responsibly.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the nonstick cooking plates with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. The exterior can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth.
  3. Placement: Place the waffle maker on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.

Operating Instructions

  1. Preheating: Plug the waffle maker into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The red 'Power' indicator light will illuminate. Allow the unit to preheat until the green 'Ready to Cook' indicator light turns on. This typically takes a few minutes.

  3. Preparing Batter: Prepare your favorite waffle batter. Use the included measuring cup to ensure the correct amount of batter for a full waffle.

  5. Pouring Batter: Once the green 'Ready to Cook' light is on, slowly pour the waffle batter into the upright pouring funnel until it reaches the top of the funnel. Do not overfill.

  7. Cooking Waffles: Close the lid. The green 'Ready to Cook' light may turn off during cooking and will re-illuminate when the waffle is done. Cooking time typically ranges from 3-5 minutes, depending on desired crispness.
  8. Removing Waffles: When the waffle is cooked to your preference, press the easy-open button to release the lid. Use a non-metallic utensil to gently remove the waffle. Avoid using metal utensils as they can damage the nonstick coating.

  10. Additional Waffles: Repeat steps 3-5 for additional waffles. Always ensure the 'Ready to Cook' light is on before adding more batter.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your waffle maker.

  2. Cleaning Cooking Plates: The DiamondForce nonstick cooking plates are designed for easy food release. Wipe them with a soft, damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, a small amount of mild dish soap can be used, followed by wiping with a clean damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
