Key Features

Setup and Installation

Mounting the Camera

The HCP-6320HA is designed for wall mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the camera's weight (approximately 7 lbs) and any associated cabling.

  1. Select a suitable mounting location that provides the desired field of view and is within reach of power and video cables.
  2. Use the provided mounting template (if applicable) to mark drilling points for the mounting bracket.
  3. Drill pilot holes and secure the mounting bracket to the surface using appropriate screws and anchors.
  4. Attach the camera to the mounting bracket, ensuring it is firmly secured.

Wiring Connections

The camera requires a 24V AC power supply and uses wired connectivity for video and control.

  1. Power Connection: Connect the 24V AC power supply to the camera's power input. Ensure correct polarity.
  2. Video Output: Connect the analog HD video output (BNC connector) to your DVR or video monitoring system. The camera supports various analog HD formats (AHD, TVI, CVI) and CVBS, which can typically be selected via the OSD menu or DIP switches.
  3. Control (Optional): For PTZ control, connect the RS-485 communication lines (Tx+/Tx-) to your DVR or PTZ controller. Alternatively, Coaxitron (Up the Coax) control can be used if supported by your DVR, eliminating the need for separate RS-485 wiring.

Initial Configuration

After physical installation and wiring, power on the camera. Access the camera's On-Screen Display (OSD) menu via your DVR or controller to configure settings such as video format, PTZ protocols, and image adjustments.
