  • Always use the guardrails on the upper bunk.
  • Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
  • Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.

  • Trundle Bed Frame
  • Wooden Slats for all bed sections

Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly typically requires two adults. Clear a spacious area for assembly and keep all hardware out of reach of small children. Follow the step-by-step diagrams included in your product packaging for precise assembly.

  1. Prepare the Area: Unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
  2. Assemble the Lower Bed Frame: Connect the side rails to the headboard and footboard of the lower bed using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are snug but do not fully tighten until the frame is complete.
  3. Assemble the Upper Bed Frame: Similarly, assemble the upper bed frame, attaching the side rails to its headboard and footboard.
  4. Attach Guardrails and Ladder: Securely attach the guardrails to the upper bunk and install the ladder according to the diagrams.
  5. Connect Upper and Lower Bunks: Carefully lift and align the upper bunk onto the lower bunk, securing them with the designated bolts. This step often requires two people.
  6. Install Slats: Place and secure the wooden slats onto both the upper and lower bed frames. These slats provide mattress support, eliminating the need for a box spring.
  7. Assemble the Trundle Bed: Assemble the trundle frame, attaching its side rails and slats. The trundle is designed to slide underneath the lower bunk.
  8. Final Tightening: Once all components are assembled, go back and fully tighten all bolts and screws. Do not overtighten.

Using the Trundle Bed

The trundle bed is designed to slide out from underneath the lower bunk, providing an additional sleeping space. It is equipped with wheels for easy movement.

  1. To deploy, gently pull the trundle bed frame outwards from under the lower bunk.
  2. To store, push the trundle bed frame back into its position under the lower bunk until it is fully recessed.

  1. To expand, locate the extension mechanism on the lower bunk. Gently pull the designated section outwards. The bed will extend to a wider configuration.
  2. To return to twin size, push the extended section back into its original position.

Ensure the bed is fully locked in either the twin or king position before use.

Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your bunk bed.

  • Cleaning: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For deeper cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry immediately.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or strong chemical solutions, as these can damage the wood finish.
  • Environmental Conditions: Avoid direct exposure to sunlight or heat sources, which can cause fading or warping. Maintain a stable room temperature and humidity.
  • Hardware Check: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten as necessary to maintain stability and safety.
