Setup

Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the padlock using the provided Micro USB cable. Connect the cable to the Micro USB port on the padlock and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter). The indicator light will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

Adding Fingerprints (Administrator)

The first fingerprint registered will be the administrator. This fingerprint is required to add or remove other user fingerprints.

1. Ensure the padlock is charged.
2. Press and hold the fingerprint sensor until the indicator light flashes blue.
3. Place your finger on the sensor. Lift and repeat several times as prompted by the light (e.g., green flash for successful scan, red for error).
4. Once successfully registered, the light will confirm.

Adding User Fingerprints

After the administrator fingerprint is set, you can add up to 9 additional user fingerprints (total of 10, including administrator).

1. Unlock the padlock using an administrator fingerprint.
2. While unlocked, press and hold the fingerprint sensor until the indicator light flashes blue.
3. Place the new user's finger on the sensor. Lift and repeat several times as prompted.
4. Once successfully registered, the light will confirm.

Removing All Fingerprints (Factory Reset)

To remove all registered fingerprints and restore factory settings:

1. Unlock the padlock using an administrator fingerprint.
2. While unlocked, press and hold the fingerprint sensor for approximately 10-15 seconds until the indicator light flashes red rapidly.
3. Release the sensor. All fingerprints will be deleted. You will need to register a new administrator fingerprint to use the lock again.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking the Padlock

To unlock the padlock, simply place a registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The indicator light will flash green, and the shackle will pop open. If the fingerprint is not recognized, the light will flash red.

Locking the Padlock

To lock the padlock, simply push the shackle down firmly until it clicks into place. The padlock will automatically lock.

Maintenance

Charging the Battery

The padlock features a rechargeable battery. When the battery is low, the indicator light may flash red or behave erratically. Connect the padlock to a USB power source using the provided Micro USB cable to recharge. A full charge can last up to 1 year on standby or provide approximately 2000 unlocks.

Cleaning

Wipe the padlock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components. Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and free of dirt or moisture for optimal performance.

Water and Dust Resistance

The padlock has an IP66 rating, meaning it is protected against powerful water jets and is dust-tight. While it can withstand rain and splashes, it is not designed for prolonged submersion in water.

Troubleshooting

• Padlock not unlocking with registered fingerprint:
  Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Try repositioning your finger on the sensor. Ensure the battery is charged. If multiple attempts fail, try another registered fingerprint.
• Indicator light not turning on:
  The battery may be completely drained. Connect the padlock to a power source using the Micro USB cable and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to use it.
• Cannot register new fingerprints:
  Ensure you are using an administrator fingerprint to initiate the registration process. Make sure the padlock has enough battery life.
• Padlock feels loose or unresponsive:
  Check for any physical obstructions around the shackle or sensor. If the issue persists, try a factory reset and re-register your fingerprints.
