3. What's Included

Carefully unpack all components and ensure you have all the items listed below. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not proceed with assembly; contact Real Flame customer service.

4. Setup and Assembly

Partial assembly is required. The estimated assembly time is 30 minutes with one person. A Phillips head screwdriver is required (not included).

5. Operating Instructions

The control panel for the electric fireplace is located behind the front doors. Open the doors to access the controls.

  1. Power On/Off: Plug the 5.5-foot power cord into a standard 120V, 15 Amp grounded outlet. Locate the main power switch on the control panel and flip it to the 'ON' position.
  2. Flame Effect: The flame effect will activate automatically when the unit is powered on. To adjust the brightness or intensity of the flame, use the dedicated flame control switch or dial (if present).
  3. Heat Function: To activate the heater, locate the heat switch on the control panel and turn it 'ON'. The unit will begin to emit warm air.
  4. Adjusting Thermostat: Use the thermostat dial to set your desired room temperature. The heater will operate until the set temperature is reached, then automatically cycle off. It will turn back on if the room temperature drops below the set point.
  5. Flame-Only Mode: To enjoy the flame effect without heat, ensure the heat switch is in the 'OFF' position while the main power switch is 'ON'.
  6. Shutting Down: To turn off the fireplace, first turn off the heat function, then flip the main power switch to the 'OFF' position. For extended periods of non-use, unplug the unit from the wall outlet.
