Important Safety Instructions

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

Setup and Assembly

Before operating your Koblenz WD-6K2, ensure all components are correctly assembled.

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all accessories listed in the specifications are present.
  2. Attach Wheels: Securely attach the reinforced wheels to the base of the vacuum cleaner. Ensure they click into place or are fastened according to the diagram.
  3. Connect Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the intake port on the front of the vacuum unit. Twist to lock it securely.
  4. Assemble Extension Wands and Nozzle: Connect the two telescopic tubes (extension wands) together, then attach the desired floor accessory (with squeegee for wet use, or brush for dry use) to the end.
  5. Install Filter: For dry vacuuming, ensure the high-efficiency pleated filter is correctly installed inside the tank. For wet vacuuming, remove the pleated filter and ensure the foam filter (if included) is in place, or follow instructions for filter-less wet operation if applicable.

Dry Vacuuming

For dry debris such as dust, dirt, and small particles:

  1. Ensure the high-efficiency pleated filter is securely installed.
  2. Attach the appropriate dry cleaning accessory (e.g., floor brush, crevice tool) to the extension wands.
  3. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Turn the vacuum cleaner ON using the power switch.
  5. Move the nozzle over the area to be cleaned, allowing the powerful suction to collect debris.
  6. When finished, turn the vacuum OFF and unplug it.

Wet Vacuuming

For liquid spills and wet messes:

  1. Important: Remove the pleated filter before wet vacuuming. Install the foam filter if your model includes one for wet use, or ensure the float mechanism is clear.
  2. Attach the floor accessory with squeegee or other suitable wet pick-up tool.
  3. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  4. Turn the vacuum cleaner ON.
  5. Move the nozzle slowly over the liquid spill to suction it into the tank.
  6. The vacuum will automatically stop suctioning when the tank is full due to the float mechanism. Turn OFF the vacuum immediately and empty the tank.
  7. When finished, turn the vacuum OFF and unplug it.
