Important Safety Instructions
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this vacuum cleaner.
- Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing.
- Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.
- Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
- Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.
- Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
- Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
- Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
- Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
- Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
- Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving parts.
- Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
- Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
- Do not use without filter in place.
- Turn off all controls before unplugging.
- Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Setup and Assembly
Before operating your Koblenz WD-6K2, ensure all components are correctly assembled.
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Verify that all accessories listed in the specifications are present.
- Attach Wheels: Securely attach the reinforced wheels to the base of the vacuum cleaner. Ensure they click into place or are fastened according to the diagram.
- Connect Hose: Insert the flexible hose into the intake port on the front of the vacuum unit. Twist to lock it securely.
- Assemble Extension Wands and Nozzle: Connect the two telescopic tubes (extension wands) together, then attach the desired floor accessory (with squeegee for wet use, or brush for dry use) to the end.
- Install Filter: For dry vacuuming, ensure the high-efficiency pleated filter is correctly installed inside the tank. For wet vacuuming, remove the pleated filter and ensure the foam filter (if included) is in place, or follow instructions for filter-less wet operation if applicable.

Operating Instructions
Dry Vacuuming
For dry debris such as dust, dirt, and small particles:
- Ensure the high-efficiency pleated filter is securely installed.
- Attach the appropriate dry cleaning accessory (e.g., floor brush, crevice tool) to the extension wands.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the vacuum cleaner ON using the power switch.
- Move the nozzle over the area to be cleaned, allowing the powerful suction to collect debris.
- When finished, turn the vacuum OFF and unplug it.

Wet Vacuuming
For liquid spills and wet messes:
- Important: Remove the pleated filter before wet vacuuming. Install the foam filter if your model includes one for wet use, or ensure the float mechanism is clear.
- Attach the floor accessory with squeegee or other suitable wet pick-up tool.
- Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
- Turn the vacuum cleaner ON.
- Move the nozzle slowly over the liquid spill to suction it into the tank.
- The vacuum will automatically stop suctioning when the tank is full due to the float mechanism. Turn OFF the vacuum immediately and empty the tank.
- When finished, turn the vacuum OFF and unplug it.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your vacuum cleaner.
- Emptying the Tank: After each use, especially wet vacuuming, unlatch the motor head and carefully lift it off. Pour out the collected debris or liquid. Clean the inside of the tank with water and mild detergent if necessary, then dry thoroughly.
- Cleaning Filters:
- Pleated Filter (Dry Use): Tap the filter gently to dislodge dust. For deeper cleaning, rinse with water and allow to air dry completely before reinstallation. Do not use the vacuum with a wet pleated filter.
- Foam Filter (Wet Use): Rinse the foam filter with water and mild soap. Squeeze out excess water and allow to air dry completely before storage or next use.
- Hose and Accessories: Check the hose and accessories for blockages. Clear any obstructions to maintain suction power. Rinse wet accessories after use.
- Cord Storage: Wrap the power cord neatly around the designated storage hooks on the unit to prevent damage.
