Spigen NeoFlex Screen Protector Instruction Manual

For Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra (Model AFL01445)

Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the proper installation, use, and maintenance of your Spigen NeoFlex Screen Protector for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Following these guidelines will help ensure optimal performance and longevity of your screen protector.

Package Contents

Please verify that all items are present in your package:

  • 2 x Spigen NeoFlex Screen Protectors
  • 1 x Installation Spray Solution
  • 1 x Squeegee
  • 1 x Microfiber Cleaning Cloth
  • 1 x Dust Removal Sticker

Setup: Installation Guide

For best results, perform the installation in a dust-free environment. It is recommended to watch the official Spigen installation video, typically available on the product page or manufacturer's website, before beginning.

Preparation

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly to remove any oils or dirt.
  2. Power off your Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
  3. Use the microfiber cleaning cloth to wipe the screen clean. Ensure there are no smudges or fingerprints.
  4. Use the dust removal sticker to lift any remaining dust particles from the screen. Inspect the screen carefully under good lighting.

Application Steps

  1. Spray Application: Lightly spray the installation solution onto your fingertips and both sides of the screen protector. This allows for repositioning during installation.
  2. Positioning: Carefully peel off the protective film from the screen protector. Align the screen protector with your phone's screen, ensuring the cutouts for the camera and sensors match perfectly. The wet application allows you to slide and adjust the protector until it is perfectly centered.
  3. Squeegee Out Bubbles: Once aligned, use the provided squeegee to gently push out any excess solution and air bubbles from the center towards the edges. Apply firm, even pressure. For curved edges, apply pressure and hold for a few seconds to help the protector adhere.
  4. Drying Time: Allow the screen protector to dry for several hours, ideally 12-24 hours, without touching or using the device. Small bubbles or haziness may be present immediately after installation; these will typically disappear as the solution dries and evaporates.

Operating: Usage Tips

  • Fingerprint Scanner: After the screen protector has fully dried and cured, re-register your fingerprints in your phone's settings. This ensures optimal performance of the in-display fingerprint sensor.
  • Touch Sensitivity: If you experience reduced touch sensitivity, enable the 'Touch sensitivity' option in your phone's display settings.
  • S Pen Usage: The NeoFlex protector is compatible with the S Pen. Note that the feel of the S Pen on the TPU material may differ slightly from direct screen contact.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: To clean the screen protector, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Self-Healing: The NeoFlex protector features self-healing properties for minor scratches. Deeper marks or punctures may not fully recover.

Troubleshooting

  • Small Bubbles/Haze: If small bubbles or haziness remain after installation, allow more drying time (up to 48 hours). These are typically residual moisture from the installation solution and will dissipate naturally.
  • Edges Lifting: If the edges begin to lift, gently press them down with your finger or the squeegee, applying consistent pressure for a few seconds. This may be more effective after the protector has partially dried.
  • Fingerprint Scanner Not Working: Ensure you have re-registered your fingerprints after installation and enabled 'Touch sensitivity' in your phone's settings. Clean the fingerprint sensor area on the screen protector.
  • Dust Under Protector: If dust particles are trapped under the protector, it may be necessary to carefully lift a corner, use a dust removal sticker to remove the particle, and then re-apply the section with a small amount of spray solution and squeegee. If unsuccessful, consider using the second protector provided.
