1. Introduction
This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and effective use of your Microlife WS 200 Electronic Personal Scale. This device is designed to measure body weight and analyze body composition, including body fat and water percentage, and can connect to the Microlife Connected Health+ application via Bluetooth Smart for comprehensive health tracking.
Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it for future reference.
2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove the scale from its packaging. Inspect the device for any signs of damage. If any damage is observed, do not use the scale and contact your retailer.

2.2 Battery Installation
The Microlife WS 200 scale requires 4 AAA batteries, which are included. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale. Open the compartment cover, insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators (+/-), and close the cover securely.
Note: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly to prevent damage to the device.
2.3 Placement of the Scale
Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven or soft surfaces (like carpet) can affect measurement accuracy. Avoid placing the scale near strong electromagnetic fields or in areas with extreme temperature fluctuations.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Taking a Weight Measurement
- Place the scale on a firm, flat surface.
- Step onto the scale barefoot and stand still. Ensure your feet are positioned correctly on the electrodes for body composition analysis.
- The display will show your weight. Wait for the reading to stabilize.
- Step off the scale. The measurement will automatically be saved and, if connected, transferred to the Microlife Connected Health+ app.
For consistent results, take measurements at the same time of day, preferably in the morning before breakfast and after using the restroom.
3.2 Body Composition Analysis
The Microlife WS 200 provides body composition diagnosis, including body fat and water percentage, and muscle mass. To ensure accurate analysis:
- Always step onto the scale barefoot.
- Ensure your feet are clean and dry.
- Stand still on the scale until all measurements are displayed or transferred to the app.
The scale uses Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to estimate body composition. This method sends a small, safe electrical current through your body. Factors like hydration level can influence results.
3.3 Using the Microlife Connected Health+ App
The app allows you to:
- Track your body weight, body fat, water percentage, and muscle mass over time.
- View trends and graphs of your health data.
- Set goals and monitor your progress.
- Receive reminders for health routines (if configured within the app).
Refer to the in-app help section for detailed instructions on using all features of the Microlife Connected Health+ application.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Scale
Clean the scale surface with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent if necessary. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water. The glass surface can be slippery when wet, so ensure it is dry before use.
4.2 Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator appears on the display, replace all 4 AAA batteries simultaneously. Use new, high-quality batteries. Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
4.3 Storage
Store the scale in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale when not in use.
5. Troubleshooting
- "Lo" or no display: Batteries are low or incorrectly installed. Replace batteries or check polarity.
- Inaccurate readings:
- Ensure the scale is on a hard, flat surface.
- Step onto the scale barefoot and stand still.
- Calibrate the scale by stepping on it briefly, stepping off, and then stepping on again for measurement.
- Cannot connect to app:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- Make sure the scale is within range of your device.
- Restart the app and/or your device.
- Re-pair the scale within the app settings.
- Body composition analysis not working:
