Setup and Inflation
The Intex Dura-Beam airbed features a built-in electric pump for quick and easy inflation and deflation. Ensure the airbed is placed on a clean, level surface free from sharp objects before inflation.
- Unroll the airbed and lay it flat.
- Locate the built-in electric pump on the side of the airbed.
- Open the power cord compartment and plug the pump into a standard electrical outlet.
- Turn the pump dial to the "Inflate" position (usually indicated by an arrow pointing towards the airbed).
- Allow the airbed to inflate to your desired firmness. This typically takes about 60 seconds.
- Once inflated, turn the pump dial to the "Off" position and unplug the power cord. Store the cord back in its compartment.

Deflation
- Plug the pump into an electrical outlet.
- Turn the pump dial to the "Deflate" position (usually indicated by an arrow pointing away from the airbed).
- Allow the pump to remove air until the airbed is fully deflated.
- Turn the pump dial to the "Off" position, unplug the cord, and store it.
- Fold or roll the deflated airbed for storage.

Operating the Airbed
Upon initial use, the material of the airbed may stretch, causing a perceived loss of air pressure. This is normal and not an indication of a leak. Simply re-inflate the bed as needed to achieve your desired firmness. This stretching and re-inflation process may be required for the first 2-3 nights of use until the material fully settles.
The integrated pillow rest provides additional head and neck support, eliminating the need for extra pillows.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the airbed, wipe the flocked surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the material. Ensure the airbed is completely dry before storing.
Storage
After deflation, fold or roll the airbed neatly. Store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the stored airbed to prevent damage.
Repair Patch
A repair patch is included for minor punctures. Clean the damaged area, apply the patch firmly, and allow sufficient time for it to adhere before re-inflating the airbed.
Troubleshooting
Airbed Appears to Lose Air
If your airbed seems to be losing air, especially during the first few uses, it is likely due to the material stretching. This is a normal characteristic of new inflatable products. Re-inflate the airbed to your desired firmness. The material will stabilize after a few uses.
Pump Not Working
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet. Check that the pump dial is correctly set to either "Inflate" or "Deflate" and not in the "Off" position. If the issue persists, consult the manufacturer's support.
