1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your DOMO B3971 Bread Maker. Retain this manual for future reference.

  • Always ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials.

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Cleaning

  1. Carefully remove the bread maker and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Wash the bread pan, kneading blade, measuring cup, and measuring spoon with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  4. Ensure all parts are dry before use.

3.2 Appliance Placement

Place the bread maker on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate ventilation around the unit. Keep it away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper heat dissipation.

3.3 Assembling the Bread Pan

  1. Insert the kneading blade onto the shaft at the bottom of the bread pan. Ensure it is securely in place.
  2. Place the assembled bread pan into the main unit, pressing down firmly until it clicks into position.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adding Ingredients

Always add ingredients in the following order to ensure optimal mixing and rising:

  1. Liquids (water, milk, eggs, oil)
  2. Dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt)
  3. Yeast (placed on top of the dry ingredients, away from liquids and salt)

For recipes requiring additional ingredients like fruits, nuts, or seeds, use the automatic dispenser.

4.2 Program Selection

  1. Plug in the bread maker. The display will show the default program (usually Program 1).
  2. Press the MENU button repeatedly to cycle through the 18 available programs until your desired program is selected.

4.3 Loaf Size and Crust Color

  1. Press the WEIGHT button to select the desired loaf size (500g, 750g, or 1000g).
  2. Press the COLOR button to choose your preferred crust color (Light, Medium, Dark).

4.4 Delay Timer Function

To delay the start of the baking process:

  1. After selecting the program, loaf size, and crust color, press the TIME+ or TIME- buttons to set the desired delay time. The display will show the total time until the bread is ready, including the delay.
  2. Press START/STOP to activate the delay timer. The bread maker will begin baking after the set delay.

4.5 Start/Stop Operation

  1. To start baking, press the START/STOP button once. The indicator light will illuminate.
  2. To stop the program, press and hold the START/STOP button for approximately 3 seconds until a beep sounds and the indicator light turns off.

4.6 Removing the Bread

Once the baking cycle is complete, the bread maker will beep. Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool slightly before carefully removing the bread pan. Use oven mitts as the pan will be hot. Invert the pan to release the bread onto a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your bread maker.

6.1 Cleaning the Bread Pan and Kneading Blade

  1. After use, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
  2. Remove the bread pan from the unit.
  3. If the kneading blade is stuck, pour warm water into the pan and let it soak for about 30 minutes to loosen it.
  4. Remove the kneading blade using the provided hook.
  5. Wash the bread pan and kneading blade with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as this can damage the non-stick coating.
  6. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing or next use.

6.2 Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior of the bread maker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Ensure no water enters the ventilation slots.

6.3 Automatic Dispenser

Clean the automatic dispenser regularly to prevent residue buildup. Use a small brush or damp cloth to remove any food particles.

7. Troubleshooting
