Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the Eastar EDS-350 drum kit requires careful attention to detail. Please follow these steps to ensure correct setup.

1. Bass Drum Assembly

Attach the drum heads to the bass drum. Ensure the heads are seated evenly before tightening the tension rods with the provided drum key. Tighten rods in a star pattern for even tension. Attach the bass drum legs and secure them. Install the bass drum pedal onto the bass drum hoop.

2. Tom-Tom Drums

Mount the tom-toms onto the bass drum using the zinc alloy suspension mounts. These mounts allow for angle adjustment to suit the player's preference. Attach the drum heads to the tom-toms, ensuring even tension for optimal sound.

3. Snare Drum

Place the snare drum on its stand. The snare features an adjustable sound belt (snare wires) which can be tightened or loosened to change the tone. Be careful not to overtighten counter-clockwise, as this may cause the snare wires to detach.

4. Cymbals and Stands

Assemble the straight cymbal stand and hi-hat stand. Mount the cymbals securely, ensuring they are not overtightened, which can restrict their vibration. The hi-hat stand allows for height adjustment. Position the hi-hat pedal for comfortable operation.

5. Drum Throne

Assemble the adjustable drum throne. Ensure all legs are stable and the seat is securely attached. Adjust the height to a comfortable position for the player, allowing for proper posture and reach to all drums and cymbals.
