• Securely replace the fuel cap. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.

5. Operating

5.1 Starting the Engine

1. Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all safety precautions are observed.
2. Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
3. If the engine is cold, move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position.
4. Pull the recoil starter handle slowly until resistance is felt, then pull quickly and firmly.

6. Allow the engine to warm up for a few minutes before connecting electrical loads.
