Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and ensure all components are present.
- Clean: Before first use, clean the bean hopper, lid, and drip tray with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The grinding burrs should be cleaned with the provided brush.
- Assemble: Place the drip tray onto the base unit. Insert the bean hopper onto the top of the grinder and turn it clockwise until it locks into place.
- Fill Hopper: Fill the bean hopper with whole coffee beans. Do not overfill. Secure the lid.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (230V).
Operating Instructions
1. Adjusting Grind Level
The grinder offers 140 individual grind settings, from very fine for espresso to coarse for French press. To adjust the grind level:
- Ensure the grinder is off and unplugged.
- Rotate the grind level adjustment ring located below the bean hopper.
- Turn towards the smaller numbers for a finer grind (e.g., espresso).
- Turn towards the larger numbers for a coarser grind (e.g., French press).

2. Selecting Grinding Mode and Quantity
The grinder allows you to select between grinding into a filter basket or a portafilter, and to set the desired quantity.
- Main Power Switch: Locate the main power switch at the front base of the unit. Select the desired grinding mode:
- Filter Coffee Mode (left symbol): For grinding into a filter basket or a coffee container.
- OFF (middle position): Turns the grinder off.
- Espresso Portafilter Mode (right symbol): For grinding directly into an espresso portafilter.
- Quantity Selection: Use the quantity selection dial to choose the number of cups or shots you wish to grind. The dial typically has markings for 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

3. Grinding into a Filter Basket or Container
- Set the main power switch to the filter coffee mode (left symbol).
- Place your coffee filter basket or a suitable container directly under the grinding outlet.
- Press the start button to begin grinding. The grinder will automatically stop once the selected quantity is dispensed.

4. Grinding into an Espresso Portafilter
- Set the main power switch to the espresso portafilter mode (right symbol).
- Attach the portafilter holder to the grinder's outlet.
- Insert your espresso portafilter into the holder.
- Press the start button to begin grinding. The grinder will automatically stop once the selected quantity is dispensed.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your grinder. Always unplug the grinder before cleaning.
- Empty Hopper: Remove any remaining coffee beans from the hopper.
- Disassemble: Remove the bean hopper by turning it counter-clockwise and lifting it off. Remove the drip tray and portafilter holder.
- Clean Burrs: Use the provided cleaning brush to remove any ground coffee residue from the conical burrs. Pay special attention to the upper and lower burrs.
- Clean Hopper and Accessories: Wash the bean hopper, lid, drip tray, and portafilter holder with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
- Wipe Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the grinder with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the main unit in water.
- Reassemble: Reassemble all parts only when completely dry.
