Setup
1. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the 12V Lithium-ion battery. Connect the charger (GAL 1210 CV) to a power outlet and insert the battery. The charging indicator will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 110 minutes.
2. Attaching/Removing the Battery
- To attach: Slide the charged battery into the base of the drill/driver until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove: Press the release button on the battery and slide it out from the tool.
3. Inserting/Changing Bits and Drill Bits
The EasyDrill 1200 features a single-sleeve chuck for quick and easy accessory changes.
- To open the chuck: Rotate the front sleeve of the chuck counter-clockwise until the jaws are wide enough to insert the bit.
- To insert: Place the desired screwdriver bit or drill bit into the chuck. Ensure it is inserted as far as possible.
- To close the chuck: Rotate the front sleeve clockwise until the bit is firmly secured. Do not overtighten.

1. Selecting Speed and Torque
The EasyDrill 1200 has two main operating modes, selected via the red switch on top of the tool:
- Speed 1 (Screwing Mode): Use for driving screws. This mode offers 20 torque settings, adjustable by rotating the ring behind the chuck. Select a lower torque setting for smaller screws or softer materials to prevent overtightening or damaging the workpiece. Use higher settings for larger screws or harder materials.
- Speed 2 (Drilling Mode): Use for drilling holes. This mode provides a higher rotation speed for efficient drilling in wood, metal, and plastic.

2. Screwing Operations
- Select Speed 1.
- Adjust the torque ring to an appropriate setting for your screw size and material. Start with a lower setting and increase if needed.
- Position the screwdriver bit on the screw head.
- Press the trigger to start driving the screw. The integrated LED light will illuminate the work area.

3. Drilling Operations
- Select Speed 2.
- Ensure the appropriate drill bit for the material (wood, metal, plastic) is securely installed.
- Position the drill bit on the desired drilling spot.
- Press the trigger to start drilling. Apply steady, even pressure.
