1. Introduction

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the receiver and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure all components listed in the packing list are present. Retain the packaging for future transport or storage.

3.2 Connections

Before making any connections, ensure the receiver and all connected devices are powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet.

3.2.1 Speaker Connections

Connect your speakers to the appropriate terminals on the rear panel of the SR8015. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for optimal sound performance. The SR8015 supports an 11.2 channel configuration.

3.2.2 Video Connections (HDMI)

Connect your video sources (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, streaming device) to the HDMI input ports on the receiver. Connect the HDMI OUT port to your TV or projector. The SR8015 features a dedicated 8K HDMI input for the latest video formats.

3.2.3 Network and Wireless Connections

For network features and HEOS Built-in functionality, connect the receiver to your home network via an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. Ensure the included Wi-Fi/Bluetooth antennas are securely attached to the rear panel.

3.3 Speaker Setup and Calibration

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

Use the front panel controls or the remote control to power on/off the receiver, select input sources, and adjust volume.

4.2 Audio Modes and Features

4.4 Voice Control

4.5 Auto Eco Mode

The Auto Eco Mode automatically adjusts power output based on the volume level, optimizing energy consumption without compromising the audio quality. This feature is enabled by default.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

To clean the receiver, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water and wipe gently.

5.2 Ventilation

Ensure adequate ventilation around the receiver to prevent overheating. Do not block the ventilation openings on the top, sides, or bottom of the unit. Allow at least 8 inches of clearance above the unit for proper airflow.
