3.1 Earbud Components

• Touch Control Area: Located on the outer surface of each earbud for gesture control.

4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

3. The LED indicator on the case will show charging status. A full charge is indicated when the LED turns solid green.
4. A 10-minute charge can provide up to 10 hours of listening time for the case, and 100 minutes for the earbuds.

4.2 Pairing with a Device

To connect your OnePlus Buds to a smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device:

1. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the lid is open.
2. Press and hold the pairing button on the back of the charging case for 2 seconds until the LED indicator flashes white. This indicates the earbuds are in pairing mode.
3. On your device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "OnePlus Buds" from the list of available devices.
4. Once connected, the LED indicator on the case will turn solid white.
5. For OnePlus phone users, a quick pairing pop-up may appear for seamless connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Touch Controls

The OnePlus Buds feature intuitive touch controls on each earbud.

• Double Tap: By default, double-tapping either earbud will skip to the next track. This action can be customized via your connected OnePlus phone settings or the Hey Melody app for other Android devices.
• Wearing Detection: Music playback will automatically pause when an earbud is removed from your ear and resume when re-inserted.
• Call Management: Double-tap to answer or end a call.

• Earbuds not connecting: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. Place earbuds back in the case, close the lid, then open it and try pairing again. If issues persist, try resetting the earbuds by holding the pairing button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes red, then white.
• No sound from one earbud: Ensure both earbuds are charged. Place them back in the case, close and open the lid. Re-pair if necessary.
• Charging issues: Check the charging cable and adapter. Ensure the charging contacts on both the earbuds and case are clean and free of debris.
• Poor sound quality: Ensure earbuds are properly seated in your ears. Clean speaker grilles if necessary. Check your device's audio settings.
