5. Setup and Initial Use

5.1 Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker's internal battery.

  1. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the DC 5V port on the speaker's control panel.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The charging indicator light (if present) will illuminate. Once fully charged, the indicator may change color or turn off.
  4. A full charge typically takes several hours and provides hours of operation.

5.2 Powering On/Off

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the control panel. Slide it to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Slide it to 'OFF' to power off.

The control panel features:

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED or an audible prompt.
  2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "HPS T252R" (or similar name) from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will confirm with an audible sound, and the LED indicator will stop flashing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

6.2 USB/TF Card Playback

  1. Insert a USB drive or TF card (with MP3 audio files) into the respective port on the control panel.
  2. The speaker should automatically switch to USB/TF mode and begin playing. If not, press the MODE button to select the correct input.
  3. Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Previous/Next Track) on the speaker or remote control to manage your music.

6.3 AUX Input

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop).
  3. Press the MODE button until AUX mode is selected.
  4. Control playback and volume from your external device.

6.4 FM Radio

  1. Press the MODE button repeatedly until FM radio mode is selected.
  2. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
  3. Use the Previous/Next Track buttons to navigate between saved stations.

6.5 True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Function

To connect two HPS T252R speakers for a stereo experience:

  1. Ensure both speakers are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired with any device.
  2. On one of the speakers (this will be the primary speaker), press and hold the TWS button (if available, or a specific mode button as indicated in the product's quick start guide) until you hear a pairing tone.
  3. The two speakers will attempt to connect to each other. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
  4. Now, pair your smartphone or Bluetooth device to the primary speaker as described in section 6.1.
  5. Audio will now play in stereo through both speakers.

6.6 Karaoke Function (Microphone Use)

  1. Connect the supplied wired microphone to the MIC input port on the speaker.
  2. Ensure the microphone's switch (if any) is in the 'ON' position.
  3. Adjust the main volume of the speaker using the VOL+/VOL- knob.
  4. Your voice will be amplified through the speaker.

6.7 Remote Control Usage

The remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. Functions typically include:
