2. Setup and Installation

Important: Professional installation by a qualified technician is highly recommended for this product. Incorrect installation can lead to vehicle damage or system malfunction.

2.1 Pre-Installation Considerations

  • Immobilizer Bypass Module: If your vehicle is equipped with a factory immobilizer (chip keys), an immobilizer bypass module (sold separately, e.g., ASIN: B075TH5B91) is required for the remote engine start function to operate correctly.
  • Bypass Method: Some installers may have methods to bypass the chip without a dedicated module; consult your professional installer.
  • Siren Connection: This kit does not include a siren. The alarm output can be connected to your vehicle's existing horn or an optional external siren.

2.2 Wiring Diagram

Refer to the detailed wiring diagram provided with your product packaging. This diagram is crucial for correct component connection. Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits.

2.3 Code Learning

The system supports code learning for remote controls. Follow the specific instructions in the included wiring diagram or consult your installer for the procedure to pair new or replacement remote controls.
