2. Safety Information

• Power Source: Use only the provided power adapter. Ensure the voltage matches the requirements specified on the adapter.
• Water and Moisture: Do not expose the unit to rain, moisture, or any liquids. Avoid placing objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the unit.
• Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not block any ventilation openings. Maintain a minimum distance of 10 cm around the unit for sufficient airflow.
• Heat: Keep the unit away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Cleaning: Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the radio from its packaging. Ensure all components are present:

4.2 Power Connection

1. Connect the micro USB cable to the USB port on the back of the radio.
2. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the provided power adapter.
3. Insert the power adapter into a wall socket.

4.3 Antenna Adjustment

Extend the telescopic antenna fully for optimal reception of DAB/DAB+ and FM signals.

4.4 Initial Power-On and Auto Scan

1. Press and hold the Rotary Knob to turn on the radio.
2. Upon first use, the radio will automatically perform a full scan for DAB/DAB+ stations. This process may take a few minutes.
3. Once the scan is complete, the radio will display the first available station.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press and hold the Rotary Knob for approximately 2 seconds to turn the radio on or off (standby mode).
• Volume Control: Rotate the Rotary Knob clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

5.2 DAB/DAB+ Radio Mode

1. Press the SOURCE button to select DAB mode.
2. If no stations are found or you wish to rescan, press the MENU button, then rotate the Rotary Knob to select 'Full Scan' and press the knob to confirm.
3. To browse stations, rotate the Rotary Knob. Press the knob to select a station.
4. Press the INFO button repeatedly to cycle through various information displays such as program type, frequency, signal error, bit rate, and time/date.

Storing and Recalling DAB/DAB+ Presets

The radio supports up to 20 preset stations.

• To Store: While listening to a station, press and hold one of the preset buttons (1-4+). The display will show 'Preset Store'. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select a preset number (1-20) and press the knob to confirm.
• To Recall: Briefly press one of the preset buttons (1-4+). If the desired preset is not one of the direct access buttons, press the '4+' button to access the full preset list, then rotate the Rotary Knob to select and press to confirm.

5.3 FM Radio Mode

1. Press the SOURCE button to select FM mode.
2. To auto-scan for the next available station, press and hold the ▶▶ button. The radio will tune to the next strong signal.
3. To manually tune, rotate the Rotary Knob in small increments.
4. Press the INFO button repeatedly to cycle through various information displays such as program type, frequency, and time/date.

Storing and Recalling FM Presets

The radio supports up to 20 preset stations for FM, separate from DAB presets.

• To Store: While listening to an FM station, press and hold one of the preset buttons (1-4+). The display will show 'Preset Store'. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select a preset number (1-20) and press the knob to confirm.
• To Recall: Briefly press one of the preset buttons (1-4+). If the desired preset is not one of the direct access buttons, press the '4+' button to access the full preset list, then rotate the Rotary Knob to select and press to confirm.

5.4 Alarm Function

The LEMEGA CR2+ features two independent alarms.

1. Press the MENU button. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select 'System Settings' and press to confirm.
2. Select 'Alarm' and choose 'Alarm 1' or 'Alarm 2'.
3. Configure the alarm settings:
   • Time: Set the desired alarm time.
   • Mode: Select 'Daily', 'Weekdays', 'Weekends', or 'Once'.
   • Source: Choose 'Buzzer', 'DAB', or 'FM'. If DAB/FM is selected, choose the last listened station or a preset.
   • Volume: Set the alarm volume.
   • On/Off: Enable or disable the alarm.
4. Press the BACK button to exit the menu.

Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, briefly press the Rotary Knob to activate the snooze function. The alarm will pause for a set period (usually 5-10 minutes) before sounding again.

5.5 Sleep Timer

The sleep timer allows the radio to turn off automatically after a set period.

1. Press the MENU button. Rotate the Rotary Knob to select 'System Settings' and press to confirm.
2. Select 'Sleep Timer'.
3. Rotate the Rotary Knob to choose the desired sleep duration (e.g., 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120 minutes) or 'Off'. Press the knob to confirm.

5.6 Headphone Output

To listen privately, connect standard 3.5mm headphones to the headphone jack located on the unit. The internal speaker will automatically mute.
