Setup and Wiring
Proper wiring is essential for the safe and correct operation of the timer switch. Refer to the diagram below for connection details.

Operating Instructions
1. Initial Setup and Setting Current Time
- Upon first use or after a power reset, press the Reset Key (small 'C' button) with a pen tip to clear all previous settings.
- To set the current time, press the Clock button. While holding the Clock button, press D+ to adjust the day of the week, H+ to adjust the hour, and M+ to adjust the minute. Release the Clock button when finished.
2. Programming ON/OFF Cycles
The timer allows for up to 17 ON/OFF programs per day or week. Follow these steps to set your desired schedules:

| 6 | Press D+ | Select the day(s) of the week for this OFF setting. If you want the same days as the ON setting, you do not need to press this key again. |
| 7 | Repeat steps 2-6 | Continue for up to 17 ON/OFF settings. Each press of P will cycle through "2 ON", "2 OFF", and so on. |
| 8 | Press Clock | Exit programming mode and return to the current time display. The timer is now active. |
Note: If you do not require all 17 settings, press the Clock button to exit programming mode at any time.
Manual Override
Press the MANUAL button to cycle through ON, AUTO, and OFF modes. In AUTO mode, the timer operates according to programmed settings. In ON or OFF mode, the output is forced ON or OFF, overriding the program.
Maintenance
The CN101A timer switch requires minimal maintenance. Keep the device clean and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Periodically check wiring connections for security.
The device has a power-off memory function, retaining programmed settings during power failures. No battery replacement is typically required for memory retention.
Troubleshooting
- Timer not turning ON/OFF as programmed:
- Check if the timer is in AUTO mode. Press the MANUAL button to cycle to AUTO.
- Verify that the current time and day are set correctly.
- Review your programmed ON/OFF settings for accuracy.
- Ensure the wiring is correct and secure.
- Display is blank:
- Check the power supply to the timer.
- If recently installed, ensure correct voltage (DC12V) is applied.
- Difficulty programming:
- Press the Reset Key (C button) and start programming from the beginning.
- Refer to the "Operating Instructions" section carefully.
