Inside Mount: Measure the exact width and height of the window frame. A minimum depth of 2.25 inches is required. The submitted dimensions will be the finished product dimensions.

Outside Mount: Measure the width and height of the outside window frame. Add 3-6 inches to both the width and height for optimal light blocking. The shade should be installed above the window frame.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean your Yoolax smart blinds, use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soap and water. Spot clean only. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the fabric or motor components.

4.2 Battery Care

Recharge the blinds' internal battery when the indicator light signals low power. The battery typically lasts 4-6 months on a single charge. If you have an optional solar panel, ensure it is clean and exposed to sufficient sunlight to help maintain the charge.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Blinds Not Responding

  • Check Battery: Ensure the blind's battery is charged. Connect the charging cable and allow it to charge for several hours.
  • Remote Control: Verify the remote control has working batteries. Try re-pairing the remote with the blind if issues persist (refer to your specific remote's instructions).
  • Power Cycle: Disconnect the blind from power (if applicable) or allow the battery to fully drain and then recharge.

5.2 Smart Home Integration Issues

  • Hub/Device Compatibility: Ensure your smart home hub or voice assistant device is compatible with your blind's motor type (Bluetooth, Zigbee, Matter).
  • Network Connection: Verify your smart hub and blinds are connected to a stable Wi-Fi network (if applicable).
  • Re-pair Device: Try removing and re-adding the blind within your smart home app or voice assistant settings.
  • Firmware Update: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your blinds or smart hub.

5.3 Blinds Not Moving to Correct Position

  • Recalibrate Limits: The upper and lower limits may need to be reset. Refer to your remote or app instructions for recalibration procedures.
  • Obstructions: Ensure there are no physical obstructions preventing the blind from moving freely.
