Setup and Installation
Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Note: The unit may have a protective plastic film that needs to be peeled off from all surfaces. This can be time-consuming.
Placement
Place the freezer on a flat, stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain at least 5 inches (12.7 cm) of clearance from walls or other objects on all sides to allow for proper air circulation and efficient operation. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources.
Leveling
Ensure the freezer is level to ensure proper door sealing and efficient operation.
Initial Power-Up
After placement, allow the freezer to stand upright for at least 2-4 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle. Plug the freezer into a dedicated grounded electrical outlet.
